Saoirse Ronan and Laurie Metcalf, stars of Greta Gerwig’s “Lady Bird,” attend the Entertainment Weekly Screen Actors Guild Awards pre-party held last night at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. The actors are nominated in the category of best ensemble performance by a cast, which is the closest the SAGs come to best feature film.
The 24th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are tonight at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles.
Kristen Bell does the honors as the SAG’s first-ever host. And in solidarity with the Time’s Up movement, which provides legal aid for victims of sexual assault, harassment and inequality in the workplace, the presenters for all 13 acting categories will be women, including Olivia Munn, Dakota Fanning and Gina Rodriguez.
