It’s party central this weekend in Los Angeles leading up to the Emmy Awards Sunday.
Netflix just sent out photos from Ted Sarandos and Nicole Avant’s Annual Netflix Emmy Toast, which took place Friday evening. Netflix has a lot to celebrate. (These party photos rub it in we were not invited even if we were in L.A.)
Claire Foy looks like she’s having a great time and why not? She won a Golden Globe for playing Queen Elizabeth in “The Crown” and is the Emmy front runner to win in the same category. Foy is suddenly hot with the romantic drama “Breathe,” co-starring Andrew Garfield and directed by Andy Serkis out October 22. And just yesterday Sony Pictures announced Foy will play the coveted role of Lisbeth Salander in “The Girl in the Spider’s Web,” the new installment of Sony Pictures’ Millennium franchise, based on the Stieg Larsson book. (Shooting begins in January in Berlin and Stockholm, and the film will be released on October 19, 2018.
Also spotted at the party, fabulous director Ava DuVernay, “The Master of None” writer-star Aziz Ansari and Laverne Cox from “Orange is the New Black.”
