“All Eyez on Me,” a biopic about iconic rapper/poet Tupac Shakur starring Demetrius Shipp Jr. is getting lots of advance buzz.
Directed by: Benny Boom, the rest of the cast features Kat Graham, Lauren Cohan, Hill Harper, Jamal Woolard, Danai Gurira, the movie has a release date of June 16, 2017, which would have been Shakur’s 46th birthday.

The film follows Shakur from his early days in New York City to his evolution into being one of the world’s most recognized and influential voices before his untimely death at the age of 25. From the trailer you can see Tupac and Notorious B.I.G in their first encounter and the. movie opens with Tupac’s activist mother arrested by the police.
