Kate Middleton rocked a sheer blue dress as she welcomed Indian and Bhutanese residents of the U.K. into Kensington Palace in London on Wednesday, April 6.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 34, wore the the high-collared Mary Dot Illusion Dot Dress by Indian designer Saloni (retails for $595). The design featured a sheer bodice and sleeves. But since this is the royal princess, she added a nearly nude illusion panel on the bodice for just a touch of modesty. But of course.
ROYAL STYLE – KATE MIDDLETON
Middleton, mom to Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 11 months, accessorized the ensemble with gold earrings and blue suede shoes (!). She also wore her hair in her signature blowout, bangs tucked behind one ear.

The duchess and her husband, Prince William, who was dressed in a slim-fit navy suit with a sky-blue tie and lace-up shoes, were meeting with the locals ahead of the pair’s royal tour of India and Bhutan. These two are always in sync!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will begin their tour on April 10 in Mumbai, India. They will travel through India and Bhutan, finally ending in Agra, India, where the Taj Mahal is located and where the couple will re-create Princess Diana’s famous portrait in front of the iconic mausoleum. That will be lovely.
