SAG AWARDS 2016 – Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet
The SAG Awards – 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards – took place on Jan. 30, 2016 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, and Leonardo DiCaprio – who, of course, is BFFs with longtime friend Kate Winslet – walked away with a trophy for Male Actor in a Leading Role for “The Revenant.”
The gritty film centers on a frontiersman on a fur trading expedition in the 1820s, who fights for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team. Brrrrrr… such a well-done film. I highly recommend seeing it.
