Miley Cyrus is heading to The Voice!
The musician tweeted Wednesday that she will be a key adviser for season 10 of the hit NBC singing contest.
And because it’s Miley, she tweeted a photo of her licking judge Christina Aguilera’s red seat-turning button.
Because that’s what Miley Cyrus does.

Miley Cyrus: The Voice Adviser
The ‘Dead Petz’ pop star won’t be a judge, but rather she’ll be an adviser and assist the judges – Christina Aguilera, Pharrell, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton – to prepare their teams for competition.
Other advisers who’ve done this in past seasons include Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, and Fun’s Nate Ruess.
Ok, Miley Cyrus. You Were Right.
I’ve often wondered if Miley Cyrus was on the right track with her career. All the vulgar, uninhibited stunts she’s done to further her career – remember that naked ride on the wrecking ball, erotic dance with Robin Thicke, kissing Britney Spears, smoking pot on stage, and on and on.
But, apparently, she knows what she’s doing. She knows the business and knows she needs to stay in peoples’ minds. She knows how to get talked about.
The Voice. Still a Thing?
In other The Voice news, my daughter says she’s so fed up that Blake Shelton left Miranda Lambert for Gwen Stefani that she won’t watch The Voice. We used to love Blake Shelton, but I must admit I have similar feelings.
But you know what? I’ll be watching The Voice to see how Miley Cyrus does in her new role. And the singers are always fantastic, of course. We’ve been watching American Idol this season and are now hoping it doesn’t end after this season!
