Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet Arrive Together – Oscars 2016

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet arrived together at the Oscars 2016 and walked the red carpet together. How cute is that? These two are so sweet together, and how cool that they’ve been friends for so long.

DiCaprio, of course, is nominated for Best Actor for “The Revenant,” and as I mentioned in my 2nd Annual Janie’s post, if anyone else wins that award, the world is going to implode.

Kate is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Steve Jobs,” starring opposite Michael Fassbender. Her gorgeous form-fitting gown is by Ralph Lauren.

I heard a rumor that she doesn’t use a stylist. She just knows herself and her own style so well by now that she doesn’t need one. And she always looks stunning.

There’s a very real possibility that both of these two could go home with a gold statue tonight.

I’m not sure what Leo has coming up – there’s not a darn thing upcoming on his IMDB page. Well, unless you count producing “Robin Hood: Origins,” Delirium” and “Live By Night.” But he probably needs a little acting break after making “The Revenant.”

I just saw Kate Winslet in “Triple 9,” and she was fantastic. She plays a Russian mobster who pulls no punches. Honestly, I’ve never seen her in a role like that before, and it was refreshing.

She also has “Collateral Beauty” coming up. The story follows a tragic event that sends a New York ad man on a downward spiral. Hmm … shades of “Mad Men”?

The film also stars Keira Knightley, Will Smith, Edward Norton, Helen Mirren, Naomie Harris and Michael Peña. Wow – all-star cast! It’s directed by David Frankel, who also directed “The Devil Wears Prada,” “Marley and Me,” and “Hope Springs.”

To me this seems strange seeing those two together.
