Dresses Schmesses. I’m More Intrigued by the Golden Globes Instagram Portraits

I’ve been pondering the dresses at last night’s Golden Globes Awards, and honestly, none of them really stood out for me.

Jennifer Lawrence’s red dress with the peekaboo sides was interesting. And rather than working with a designer like most stars do, Bryce Dallas Howard made news by buying her Jenny Packham dress off the rack at Neiman Marcus. Apparently, there aren’t that many options for someone who’s a size six…? Because that’s, um, obese by Hollywood standards…? Ok then.

At any rate, I’m far more intrigued by these stunning black-and-white portraits of the Golden Globes winners, courtesy of the Golden Globes Instagram Account. Take a look at some of my favorites.

Sylvester looks pretty good. I love black and white pictures, I think they show someone’s true beauty, it’s like a peak into the soul. I can’t stand Jennifer Lawrence, celebrities should learn to keep their politics to themselves.
