I sort of wonder where Arnold Schwarzenegger’s head is at these days – but in a good way. You have to think that The Governator might have less stressful ways to spend his retirement than acting long hours and then traveling the globe promoting his films. Maybe he needs the money?
At any rate, that’s just what Schwarzenegger is doing, and here are the press images to prove it. Today he attended the Latin American press junket for Paramount Pictures’ “Terminator: Genisys” at the Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The film opens in U.S. theaters July 1, 2015.
Here’s the trailer for “Terminator: Genisys.” As a longtime fan of the franchise, I’m looking forward to it.
As a side note, did you know there was actually a “Governator” series planned at one time? I’m not sure what happened with it, but according to Wikipedia, the plot featured a fictionalized Schwarzenegger who after stepping down from his role as Governor of California became a superhero in order to fight crime. His real life family and Brentwood home were going to have fictional counterparts, with the home having an Arnold Cave under it as a base of operations.
Of course, to assist in crime fighting, the cave would have high tech vehicles, super suits, gym and garcinia cambogia extract supplements (no idea what that is) with the additional of a group of sidekicks, including his cyber security expert, Zeke Muckerberg, a teenage computer genius. How did this all slip by me?
The Govenator would go up against G.I.R.L.I.E. Men (Gangsters Imposters Racketeers Liars & Irredeemable Ex-cons), his recurring supervillians, and a recurring character would have been an investigative reporter, voiced by Larry King. Here’s the trailer:
