The Netflix drama, “Bloodline,” that was just released on Mar. 20, 2015, will get a season 2. The family story stars Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, Norbert Leo Butz, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, and Sam Shepard.

I enjoyed the show and found that it started at a slow burn and built nicely throughout the season, bringing some surprises with it. So, if you start with the first couple of episodes, stick with it. Some characters were killed off in season 1, so I suspect season 2 will be largely about the repercussions of what has taken place.

Netflix still hasn’t said when season 3 of “Hemlock Grove” will be released. Last year, I was invited to visit the set in Toronto, and season 2 ended with perhaps the weirdest cliffhanger ever. The show hasn’t performed as well as other Netflix titles, though, so they have already announced that season 3 will be its last.

With the critical and commercial success of “House of Cards” and “Orange is the New Black,” it will be fascinating to see what kind of programming Netflix comes up with next.
