I really like McDonald’s new campaign to “Pay It With Lovin’,” even though, ok, it feels a little forced. Like, really? To get a hamburger you have to dial someone up and tell them you love them? We should all be doing that every day, but maybe it’s ok to get a little nudge from McDonald’s. And hey, I love that no cash is involved.
The campaign was unveiled during this year’s Super Bowl XLIX – here’s one of their commercials:
But the McDonald’s commercial that aired during the 2015 Grammys — “Choose Lovin’” — I loved even more! It shows archenemies who are now friends, because McDonald’s is all about the love, right?
I think the reason I love this commercial so much is because it brings back a lot of my childhood — Batman and Joker, Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner, Dorothy and the Wicked Witch, even Grumpy Cat makes an appearance. Oh, and Democrats and Republicans showing mad love for each other? That only happens in fantasyland, right?
Here’s that commercial, though I’m not sure who’s singing the song. Anyone know?
