Leonard Nimoy passed away yesterday at the age of 83, but the legendary “Star Trek” actor left yet another legacy with his final tweet, which is absolutely perfect.
On Feb. 22, the actor, who died from complications of end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, left all of us, including his 1.1 million Twitter followers, a bit of sage advice.
At this writing, the tweet has been retweeted some 255,000 times. It was signed with the actor’s usual signature, LLAP — “Live Long and Prosper,” echoing his iconic “Star Trek” character, Mr. Spock.
Rest in peace, Mr. Nimoy. Thanks for everything.
A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP
