Every package that ends up on a doorstep started from a wish, and UPSers work tirelessly to deliver everyday wishes throughout the holiday season and beyond. This season, UPS wants to share these magical stories and also make it more special with your help!

  • Post your wish on Twitter or Instagram by Dec. 31, 2014 with the hashtag #WishesDelivered and it will automatically be submitted to UPS. You can also go directly to the #WishesDelivered site and manually submit it there.
  • Your wish should be selfless and meaningful and made on behalf of another person. In other words, no wishing for a new smartphone for yourself!
  • For every wish submitted, UPS will make a $1 donation to one of their charity partners, up to $100K total donation. That means that by submitting your wish, you’re already helping someone else.

She moved to Michigan when she married my dad in 1946, and while we’ve been to visit her southern relatives many times over the years, I just think it would be cool to take her back there to visit family and see the sights one last time.

Here are some examples of truly heartwarming #WishesDelivered:

Northwest Battle Buddies in Battle Ground, Washington. This nonprofit organization rehabilitates shelter dogs and trains them to be service dogs for U.S. veterans with P.T.S. – all at no cost to the veterans.

Mary Singletary, President of the U.S. National Council of Women. She knows that one book has the power to change a multitude of lives, and her wish was to deliver schoolbooks to children in Malawi.

She worked with UPS to equip these children with thousands of books — powerful tools to help change their lives for the better.

UPS Driver For a Day. Four-year-old Carson developed a friendship with his UPS driver, Mr. Ernie, when he began receiving shipments of special milk. Carson became fascinated by all things UPS and wanted to be just like his pal, so UPS made Carson a UPS driver for a day. This video is SO SWEET! All of us should have such passion for our jobs.

Your turn! Submit your wish on Twitter or Instagram with the #WishesDelivered hashtag, then come back and tell us about your wish.

My wish is for my Dad, he is 83 and will be turning 84 on Feb 8. We recently found each other just before Christmas, thanks to my brother’s efforts to locate me. My Dad has not seen me since I was 3 months old, that is when my mother chose not to let him be apart of my life anymore. She would never tell me his name when I was growing up.

My wish would be to surprise him with all of his children together for the first time on his birthday this year.
