Actor Stuart Townsend will have a multi-episode arc on “Elementary” starting with the first episode in 2015. I interviewed Stuart just over a year ago when he was starring in ABC’s ill-fated series, “Betrayal.” He was one of my all-time favorite interviews. Read it here.
Stuart with play Del, Joan Watson’s new boss, who may end up being a love interest for her, causing a triangle between Joan (played by Lucy Liu) and Andrew (played by Raza Jeffrey). At least that’s what the show’s executive producer has teased. Sounds juicy.
Stuart is most well-known for playing the Vampire Lestat in “Queen of the Damned.” He also starred in the films, “Trapped,” “Head in the Clouds,” “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen,” and “About Adam,” among others, and he had a memorable guest-starring moment on “Will & Grace” as an oversexed pastry chef.
Elementary airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. I’m excited to see what kind of sizzle Stuart will bring to the show.
