Paramount Pictures released a new poster for “Interstellar” today. Matthew McConaughey looks ready to save the universe, doesn’t he?

Directed by Christopher Nolan, the story follows a group of explorers who use a a newly discovered wormhole to bust through the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage. There’s also a bit of world-saving going on.
The all-star cast also includes Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Wes Bentley, Topher Grace, Casey Affleck, John Lithgow and Mackenzie Foy.
It’s been so interesting to watch McConaughey’s career over the years, from 1993’s goofy “Dazed and Confused” to rom-coms like 2003’s “How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days” to his more serious work in “True Detective” and “Dallas Buyers Club,” for which he won an Oscar. He definitely has a clear vision for his work, and probably has some good people helping him get there.
