Think your dog is smart? Of course you do.
If you’re in the mood for a movie about a time-traveling canine genius, check out “Mr. Peabody & Sherman.” Based on the classic cartoon characters from “The Rocky & Bullwinkle Show,” the movie takes you on an adventure with the world’s smartest beagle and his boy Sherman!
“Mr. Peabody & Sherman” opened March 7, 2014. Check out Jane’s review here.
According to Ty Burrell (from ABC’s “Modern Family”), who is the voice of Mr. Peabody in the film, you have to be older than 130 to remember the original cartoon from the 1960s. Talk about needing the WABAC Machine (pronounced “Way-back”).
Doggone it! It turns out that Burrell is currently without a dog, having grown up with one who liked sleeping in the street. Burrell reports that he is “in negotiations” with his wife about adding a dog to their family.
Maybe dog-lovers like us should start a twitter campaign – A Dog for Ty! Here’s a tweet to get us started – feel free to tweet and re-tweet!
