Lena Dunham, star of the hit HBO show “Girls,” posted a picture on her Instagram account. She’s holding her new book, “Not That Kind of Girl,” scheduled for release Oct. 7, 2014. Rumor has it she received a reported $3.7 million to write it.

On the book’s Amazon page, she says of the funny, poignant and tell-it-like-it-is collection of personal essays:
