I didn’t actually watch the Grammy Awards last night because I was on elder care duty with my 89-year-old mom, and I would have had to cover her eyes and ears. You know, those Grammy Awards can be kind of risque. 🙂
But here’s a few video moments that are crowding my social media feeds this morning. My favorite is the first one with Pink – she’s so strong and amazing. Take a look…
Pink performs “Try” (accompanied by amazing aerial acrobatics) and is joined by Nate Ruess for “Just Give Me a Reason”:
Beyonce and Jay-Z perform “Drunk in Love” (a.k.a. Beyonce Sports Wet Look, Makes Love to Chair):
Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams and Stevie Wonder perform “Get Lucky”:
Katy Perry and Juicy J perform “Dark Horse” (is Katy ditching her bubblegum persona?):
Taylor Swift performs “All Too Well” (with epic hair-whipping moves):
Lorde performs “Royals”:
Carole King and Sara Bareilles perform “Beautiful Brave”:
Imagine Dragons and Kendrick Lamar perform “Radioactive” and “maad City”:
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, and Mary Lambert perform “Same Love” (and Queen Latifah officiates the marriage of 33 couples right then and there!). Then Madonna performs to seal the deal (not sure what’s up with her voice – anyone know?):
Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney reunite for Paul’s new song, “Queenie Eye”:
