HBO will honor the “Sopranos” star with a tribute on Sunday, December 22 at 8:30, with the special program, “James Gandolfini: Tribute to a Friend.” More than two dozen friends and colleagues will reminisce about the Emmy winner. Along with first-person reflections, there will be clips of Gandolfini’s work, as well as behind-the-scenes footage.
The late actor’s performance in Nicole Holofcener’s “Enough Said,” starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, has earned him Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and Independent Spirit Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor.
