Orlando Bloom stopped by Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” last night in New York City, and had a little reunion with Ian McKellen, who of course, co-stars with him in “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” in theaters Dec. 13, 2013.
The 36-year-old actor chatted about the upcoming movie, as well as his starring turn in Broadway’s “Romeo & Juliet.” Then things got really interesting when a home viewer called into the show and asked if he ever plans on going nude in a movie.
“Well you’re in luck because earlier this year I spent about seven days on set wearing just a c-ck sock because I’m nude,” he said. “It’s a film called ‘Zulu.’ It stars myself and Forest Whitaker. It’s directed by this fantastic French director Jérôme Salle. We premiered in Cannes, and you do get to see the full Orlando Bloom.”
Hmmm … something tells me I’ll be checking that movie out!

He actually said, “You get to see the full Orlando Bloom”? I guess he didn’t mind it so much when someone wolf whistled when he took his shirt off on Broadway. I hated it the night I saw “Romeo and Juliet” because it pulled everyone out of the story. Oh, those Brits – so comfortable with their bodies. 🙂
I can see how it would detract from the story.
I don’t really think of him as a shirt-off type of hunky guy, for some reason. He seems a little scrawny to me. 🙂
