Lea Michele’s “Glee” Tribute to Cory Monteith is Heartbreaking

Need a good cry? Me either! But if you do, Lea Michele’s cover of the Adele hit, “Make You Feel My Love” – which she sings in memory of Cory Monteith in the upcoming “Glee” tribute episode to her late beau – will do the trick.

Michele, 27, will appear at the end of the “Farewell to Finn” episode, titled “The Quarterback,” to perform a moving rendition of the song, which was written by Bob Dylan and originally appeared on his 1997 album “Time Out of Mind.”

Michele and Monteith were beaus on- and off-screen, so the scene will be heartbreakingly poignant. On the show, her character, Rachel Berry, is seen crying over Finn’s unexplained death and being consoled by Matthew Morrison’s Will Schuester.

Other tunes in the episode include Naya Rivera singing “If I Die Young,” Chord Overstreet and Kevin McHale singing “Fire & Rain,” and former series regulars Amber Riley and Mark Sailing returning to perform respectively “I’ll Stand By You” and “No Surrender.”

Good grief. I’m not sure I’m stable enough to handle this episode, so report back if you watch it. It airs Thursday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
