New Movies on Demand: ‘Only God Forgives,’ ‘Admission,’ ’42’ and More

Here’s a look at new movies available On Demand in July. Excited for “Admission,” which I missed in theaters, as well as “I Give It a Year,” “42” (read my review), “Trance” and “Only God Forgives” (Ryan Gosling!).

Also looking forward to seeing “The Host” again, and I can’t explain exactly why. It’s not a brilliant movie – I gave it 3.5 out of 5 Reels in my review – but the darn thing stuck with me, for some reason.

It’s always interesting to me when movies are released On Demand either the same day or before the movie actually hits theaters. I wonder what the thinking is there, because you’d think they would want people seeing films in theaters…
