Superman Infographic Reveals Man of Steel’s Financial Success

It’s no secret that Superman has taken America by storm since swooping into the comic book industry in the 1930s.

From the first release of Action Comics #1 in 1938, which sold for mere pennies compared to what it’s worth today, to the 2006 release of “Superman Returns,” which made over $200,120,000, Superman has already done very well. And most likely, the upcoming “Man of Steel” will add to that coffer.

The folks at FinancesOnline.com sent me this cool infographic that spells it all out for us. Thanks to Steve YounisOwen WilliamsJoe Crow and Neil A. Cole for their work on this.

Tell us in the comments below: Which classic Superman issue would YOU most like to see on the big screen?
