Being 38 never looked so good! Angelina Jolie spent her 38th birthday at the Berlin premiere of fiance Brad Pitt’s new zombie apocalypse thriller “World War Z” on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
The actress looked stunning in a strapless white silk crepe dress custom made by European design house Ralph & Russo, while Pitt, 49, looked handsome as always in an all-black ensemble.
Love his leather jacket, though I’m kind of over his long locks. He needs to go short a la Bradley Cooper.
Jolie’s dress featured a peplum waist, rose-gold detailing, and tiny round buttons down the back. Her long, brunette hair was curled into soft waves.
The Berlin premiere was Jolie’s third official appearance in as many days. She previously stepped out in London and Paris at the film’s screenings. These are the first public events since announcing in May that she had undergone a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction surgery earlier this year.
She expressed gratitude to Pitt for being such an “extraordinary” caretaker as she recovered from her multiple surgeries. “He’s such a wonderful man and a wonderful father,” she told reporters. “I’m very, very lucky.”
