I’m sure everyone has already seen this bit from this past weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” with guest host Zach Galifianakis, but it’s worth revisiting and rewatching again and again.
In one of the best skits of the night, Galifianakis sported a dragon costume worthy of Daenerys Targaryen’s admiration as he played Duncan, a contestant on the game show, “Game of Game of Thrones.” The die-hard Thrones fans is, well, thrown off when he is asked anything but “Game of Thrones”-centric questions.
Even a question from guest host Nikolaj Coster-Waldau can’t help our friend win the game.
Watch the skit below to enjoy the hysteria that is Zach Galifianakis and to see Bill Hader try not to break character. Below that video is a skit that never made air. (And if you’re wondering what the answer to Coster-Waldau’s question to Galifianakis is, see below the videos.)
Here’s the fake TVLand 70s show, “Kanish.”
If you weren’t sure who the person in the picture was that Coster-Waldau held up, it was Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
