On the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival this week to promote her latest film, “Sunlight Jr.,” director Laurie Collyer practically whispered to a small group of reporters that her next project will be the film adaptation of Erica Jong’s iconic 1973 novel, “Fear of Flying.” Collyer first made a splash with her film, “Sherrybaby,” starring Maggie Gyllenhaal.

“Fear of Flying” is the book that gave us the term “zipless f***,” so it seems timely considering the popularity of “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Who will play Isadora Zelda White Stollerman Wing? The character is 29 years old, and it has to be someone who is comfortable with her sexuality. Who would you cast? I nominate Mila Kunis.

While we’re waiting for more info on this exciting project, see my article about the premiere of “Sunlight Jr.” at the Tribeca Film Festival with photos of Naomi Watts and Matt Dillon.

Mila Kunis is a good choice. Or maybe Evan Rachel Wood?
