I’m pretty excited about “The Great Gatsby,” in theaters May 10, even though I’m a little worried about Baz Luhrmann‘s vision for the classic story. I think it’ll be ok, even if he moderns it up with new music and a post-millennial vibe. I hope anyway.
At any rate, I have no qualms about these two new posters featuring Leonardo DiCaprio (Jay Gatsby) and Carey Mulligan (Daisy Buchanan). The casting seems perfect. DiCaprio and Mulligan are just how I envisioned the characters from the novel.
The F. Scott Fitzgerald story follows Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) as a Midwestern war veteran who finds himself drawn to the past and lifestyle of his millionaire neighbor.
