Ok, here’s what I’m talking about. In stark contrast to Nicki Minaj’s porn-like video for French Montana’s “Freaks,” we have Mariah Carey’s gorgeous video “Almost Home,” which plays over the end credits of “Oz the Great and Powerful.”
Unlike Minaj, the other female at the judge’s table on “American Idol,” Carey and director David LaChapelle know how to create a video that’s all class.
Just a chair, a wind machine, and Carey in a beautiful gown is all that’s needed to create this lovely companion to “The Wizard of Oz” prequel. Gives me goosebumps.
