The cast from “Oz the Great and Powerful“ is in full promotional mode right now, appearing at all points across the globe for premieres. The movie opens in U.S. theaters on March 8, 2013.
On Thursday, Feb. 28, director Sam Raimi, along with the cast — James Franco, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz, Mila Kunis and Zach Braff — attended the London, England premiere at the Empire Leicester Square. Check out the glam photos below (though is it just me, or does Mila Kunis look ticked off? Maybe she just needs a vacation).
Disney’s fantastical adventure imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved wizard character. When Oscar Diggs (Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot until he meets three witches, Theodora (Kunis), Evanora (Weisz) and Glinda (Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting.
“Oz The Great and Powerful” is produced by Joe Roth, with screen story by Mitchell Kapner and screenplay by Mitchell Kapner and David Lindsay-Abaire. Grant Curtis, Palak Patel, Josh Donen and Philip Steuer are serving as executive producers.
