Some people don’t like it when celebrities wear the same frocks year after year, but I don’t have a problem with it. I mean, sure, if they wear the same thing to the same events and never mix it up, that’s a different story. But wearing one thing one year, and then wearing it again at an event the next year? That just makes sense in this day and age.
That’s what Duchess Kate did for a St. Patrick’s Day event in Aldershot, England, wearing the same forest green coat she wore last March 17.
This year, she wore it over a black dress and tights, with a different hat, and handed out shamrocks to the Irish Guards. She even pinned a sprig of shamrocks onto the Irish Guards’ mascot, an Irish wolfhound. Super cute.
During the appearance, Kate chatted with one of the Guards about how she wants a son and William wants a daughter. Sweet. And does the girl know how to be pregnant or what? You can hardly tell she’s carrying a little bundle in there.
