Anchorman 2: Harrison FordOk, seriously. I need to take another look at “Anchorman” – the first movie. I just don’t remember it being all that funny, but maybe I was delusional, because everyone else is raving about how excited they are for the sequel, “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,” due out Dec. 20, 2013.

If anything can excite me, though, it’s the casting of Harrison Ford, 70, who was spotted on the Atlanta set of “Anchorman 2” this week.

He’s said to be playing the role of a “legendary newscaster,” in the mold of longtime NBC newsman Tom Brokaw, opposite the Ron Burgundy character made famous by Will Ferrell.

The actor sported darker hair and a business suit when he was seen leaving his trailer with Ferrell, who also co-wrote the sequel along with the director of the first film, Adam McKay.

McKay confirmed on his Facebook page last month that Kristen Wigg, of “Saturday Night Live” and “Bridesmaids” fame, would also be joining the sequel.
