The MTV Movie Awards announced its 2013 nominations this week. MTV always gives the chance of a trophy to many popular films and actors who are overlooked by the Oscars and Golden Globes.

The nominations are a mixture of critically acclaimed movies and big box office draws. The Movie of the Year nominees, for example, include two films that garnered Oscar nominations – “The Silver Linings Playbook” and “Django Unchained” – along with audience favorites “Ted,” “The Avengers,” and “The Dark Knight Rises.” “Django Unchained” received the highest number of nominations, with seven.

MTV also includes fun, offbeat categories like Best Shirtless Performance, Best Scared-As-S**t Performance, Best Fight, Best Kiss, Best WTF Moment, Best Villain, and Best Musical Moment. Even better, you can vote!

The awards show, famous for its irreverence, will air April 14, 2013. Below the video is the full list of nominees.
