I’m not usually one for 3D movies — the glasses are annoying, the picture is darker, and the 3D effects generally aren’t worth the hassle. But I might make an exception for “Jurassic Park 3D,” coming to theaters April 5, 2013.
An IMAX version will play for ONE WEEK ONLY, so if there’s an IMAX theater near you, get thee to it during that week. It’ll be well worth it.
The poster for the IMAX version is pretty sweet. Seriously, it’s as if Steven Spielberg looked into the future in 1993 and said, hey, let’s use THIS shot for the IMAX version poster that’ll be released in 20 years. The guy’s a genius.
