Apparently — at least, according to Justin Bieber and his people — any photos taken of him at parties belong to him.
According to new reports, supposedly the photo that shows Justin Bieber smoking pot would never have hit the Web had Bieber’s security done their job right.
TMZ reports that, in an attempt to keep Bieber’s after hours shenanigans private, his security people usually put up signs at parties that say all pictures taken during those events belong to Bieber.
But no one put up a sign at the Newport Beach Hotel room party where the photo was taken. Or if they did, the sign wasn’t visible. And the person who took the photo says he or she never saw a sign. Beliebe it or not.
But no matter, right? Bieber has apologized to his fans, tweeting, “i see all of u. i hear all of u. i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and..thank u. #beliebers”
But here’s our question: How can you tell someone, “I own any photo you take of me”? Isn’t that a little … high and mighty and God-like? We’re just askin’…
