The American Film Institute luncheon is a highlight every year during the Golden Globes weekend. It’s also one of the hardest tickets in town to score.
Some of the Golden Globe-nominated stars who attended Fridays event are Ben Affleck, Kathryn Bigelow, Bradley Cooper, Bryan Cranston, Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Damian Lewis, Steven Spielberg and Sally Field.
Below are a few photos of some of the stars who’ve already gotten a jump start on the Golden Globe celebrations. The event itself takes place tonight at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT, and will be televised on NBC.
The AFI’s goal is to preserve the history of the motion picture, to honor the artists and their work, and to educate the next generation of storytellers.
