Dec. 13, 2012: GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINATIONS. 5 a.m. Pacific time/8 a.m. Eastern time. They nominate twice as many stars in Best Actor categories, because they break it down into Best Actor Drama and Best Actor Comedy or Musical. Also, look for the very big names to be announced, some of them out of left field, like Angelina Jolie for The Tourist a few years back. The Hollywood Foreign Press loves to get photographed with the mega-celebrities and brush shoulders at the parties, which is really the main event at this shindig. Also, it’s the Brangelinas that get the Globes their big TV ratings.
