Everything About the Sinister Poster Frightens Me

“Hmmm… I wonder if this could be tragic for my family…” | Summit

I probably wouldn’t even think about seeing Sinister, because it sounds pretty scary. But I might have to reconsider because of the players…

Ethan Hawke plays a true crime novelist who discovers a box of mysterious, disturbing home movies in his new home, putting his family in supernatural danger. Clare Foley, James Ransone and Vincent D’Onofrio also star, with Scott Derrickson directing. He helmed [amazon_link id=”B0019CB5T8″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]The Exorcism of Emily Rose[/amazon_link], so he knows a thing or two about scary movies.

Then again, I didn’t think Paranormal Activity was all that scary (though the fourth one, in theaters Oct. 16, looks darn frightening), and this is from the same producer. Take a look at the poster below. Creepy, huh?

By the way, this poster will be available as a collectible for attendees at all Tugg.com hometown premieres that meet the attendance threshold (because you all want this on your wall at home, right?).  Get tickets now at SeeSinisterFirst.com and be the first to see this movie.

I’ll watch horror on a small screen but not on a big screen. (Ethan Hawke and I share a chiropractor, by the way. 🙂 )

@melanievotaw I just don’t even know what to think about that bit of info. If Ethan Hawke saw the same chiropractor as me, I’d probably be lurking around their office all the time. Because that’s how we do it here in Michigan.

@Jane Boursaw In NYC, you see people all the time. I’m good friends with my chiropractor, so it’s certainly old hat to her. I’ve never seen him in the office, but I’ve seen Richard Gere and Olympia Dukakis. Just wrote you an email about the time I spent a long time talking to Sonia Braga at my chiropractor’s baby shower without realizing who she was. Duh! But she was lovely.
