The Hobbit Gets a Gorgeous Comic-Con Poster

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters Dec. 14, 2012, so expect amazing stuff to start rolling out through the rest of the year.

Warner Bros. is bringing three films to Comic-Con 2012 next Saturday: Pacific Rim, The Hobbit and Man of Steel, and they’re releasing special posters for each film.

This gorgeous poster for The Hobbit just takes my breath away. It shows the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellan) strolling through Hobbiton as the sun streams through the clouds. Wonder if he’s on his way to give Bilbo that unexpected news…
