There’s a new movie from those loveable talking dogs. Treasure Buddies hits DVD and blu-ray on Jan. 31, 2012.
I know what you’re thinking. Why do they keep making movies about these dogs? How many more adventures can they get into? How many small-time thieves and forlorn children can they save? They’ve been in spooky mansions. They’ve been to the North Pole. They’ve even been to space! I’m guessing there are many more adventures in their future.
It’s probably not cool to like the Buddies, but I like them anyway. For one thing, they’re adorable. For another, it’s cute how their little mouths move when they talk.
In [amazon_link id=”B006070RT6″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Treasure Buddies[/amazon_link], the pups — Rosebud, B-Dawg, Budderball, Buddha and Mudbud — embark on an adventure to the ruins of ancient Egypt. With the help of some exotic new friends (monkeys! camels!), the Buddies must avoid booby traps, solve puzzles and explore a mysterious tomb — all in search of the greatest treasure known to animalkind.
And we also get to see Edward Herrmann (Lorelai’s dad on Gilmore Girls) and Richard Riehle (Tom Smykowski on Office Space). You just never know who’s going to turn up in a Buddy movie.
Bonus Features:
- All-New Music Video, Roam – performed by the cast of Disney Channel’s Shake It Up
- DIGS: B-Dawg Edition — Hang with B-Dawg on a tour of his blinged-out crib
