Vincent Kartheiser has always had a bit of a creepy quality about him. Even when he played Angel‘s son Connor, he had this other-worldly vibe that made it impossible to turn away from the screen whenever he was on.

Then he showed up on Mad Men as the “I’ll do anything to get ahead” Pete Campbell and became part of the ensemble that scored a Screen Actors Guild award two years in a row.
Then I saw him in the trailer for In Time, and it hit me. He’s the new Christopher Walken. He’ll be the one casting departments call for the unpleasant, skin-crawling, other-intentions character that both repulses and attracts.
Watch the trailer for In Time below and see if you agree.
The mind-bending sci-fi tale opens Oct. 28, 2011 and stars Justin Timberlake, Olivia Wilde, Amanda Seyfried, and Cillian Murphy. Think you’re running out of time? These folks really are.
I’m fascinated by Vincent Kartheiser, too, and applaud your premise. What’s more, I did not know about this film and look forward to seeing it in October after watching the trailer. Thanks for posting it!
Interesting looking flick. Hadn’t heard about it before. I absolutely agree that Vincent looks like a baby Chris Walken, the king of creepy-scary!
Good call! Vincent and Christopher also have the oddly debonair, charming-although-you’re-unnerving-me vibe down pat.
Yes – that smoothly suave but deeply disturbing vibe. 🙂
Yes Vincent is my son I have never signed on to talk about him……..
A couple of things.. I believe Vincent would love the comparison after all
Christopher has proven he can do it all…and very well I might add.
Vincent came up the hard way (I mean in the business) no silver spoon to grow up on……
He is also very very funny…..More cowbells please…..!
Hey, thanks for the note, Jim. I love the comparison, too. Love Vince on Mad Men and can’t wait to see him in In Time. Perfect casting.
