Hayden Panettiere’s Music Video is the Best Thing About Hoodwinked Too

I really wasn’t crazy about ‘Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil,’ and in fact, only gave it two out of five reels. You can read my full review, but to sum it up, it’s like they took everything that was great about the first ‘Hoodwinked’ movie (which everyone in this household loved), and tried to amplify it by ten for the sequel.

The result is a jumbled cliche-fest with too many characters, tired jokes and dated references. Please, someone retire the ‘Matrix’ action sequences. You’ll be doing all of us a favor.

Ok, so that’s the bad news about ‘Hoodwinked Too.’ The good news is that there’s a tiny little sliver of brightness in the middle of the movie where we hear ‘I Can Do It Alone,’ sung by Hayden Panettiere, the voice of Red. I really love her voice, and she’s a great interview, too. I talked to her back in 2007, when ‘Heroes’ was in its beginning stages.
