If you go searching for ‘Your Highness‘ trailers on YouTube, you’ll find about a thousands clips and trailers and behind-the-scenes stuff. Seriously, I bet you could watch most of the movie on YouTube right now.

Your Highness PosterBut go see it in a theater this weekend, because it’s much more fun that way. Plus, someone else makes the popcorn. ‘Your Highness’ looks like a cross between ‘[amazon_link id=”B00005O3VC” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Monty Python and the Holy Grail[/amazon_link]’ and ‘[amazon_link id=”B000TJBNHG” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]The Princess Bride[/amazon_link].’ But leaning more towards ‘Grail,’ based on the red band trailers.

It stars James Franco as Prince Fabious, whose bride-to-be Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel) gets kidnapped by the evil wizard Leezar (Justin Theroux). So Fabious and his slacker brother Thadeous (Danny McBride) — along with the elusive warrior Isabel (Natalie Portman) — embark on a quest to find the maiden.

‘Your Highness’ actually looks pretty fun, and the director, David Gordon Green, also helmed ‘Pineapple Express’ — which means it’s not for kids. It’s rated R for strong crude and sexual content, pervasive language, nudity, violence and some drug use; 102 min.; opens in theaters April 8, 2011.
