Film Gecko Giveaway: 2011 Betty White Calendar

If ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ isn’t your thing (see Monday’s giveaway), then maybe you might like some Betty White. I’ve got two 2011 Betty White wall calendars to give away, and is she the ultimate pinup girl or what?

Betty White Calendar, 2011She’s probably really overexposed, too, but I must say, I’m not sick of her at all. I can take even more Betty, so bring it, people.

betty-white-calendar-2011 Mine would have to be Sue Ann Nivens from ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show.’  though I also love her as Elka in ‘Hot in Cleveland’ and Rose in ‘The Golden Girls.’ Really, Betty White could pretty much do anything and I’ll love her.

    I’m thrilled that Betty is having such a resurgence, but I do think she’s a TAD overexposed these days. Then, again … more power too her.

    A calendar might be a bit much for me, but maybe my mom would want it.

    My favorite role was when she was on the Mary Tyler Moore Show, but she keeps topping herself–like on SNL. I think I love her because of her dimples, and because I want to be her when I’m her age….which is in, ah, like, two years??

    Oh lord, what will I do with two Betty White calendars? I like her best when she’s foul-mouthed, because it’s such a contrasting personality to what she appears like on the outside. Hilarious!

    What I love about her is that she’s happy and real and goofy. She aged gracefully–without getting work done. She’s a little plump–and she makes that work for her. She did not force herself to conform to that Hollywood look. And she’s a great actress.

    Sure she’s overexposed but it’s great to see that Betty White has such an authenticity and continues to remain a consistent and funny presence on whatever show she appears.

    I Love Betty because she’s a hard worker and fabulous actress! I loved her on Mary Tyler Moore, but Rose Nyland is forever my fave for her pure heart and innocence. Just great T.V. you know?! <3

    I think that Betty White is one of greatest national treasures. My favorite character of hers, of course: Rose on “The Golden Girls”. She can make you laugh, and cry. It just wouldn’t be the same without Betty.

    I have been a Betty White fan as far back as I can remember. She gives me a real boost when ever I see her-she’s older than me and still look wonderful. One of my favorite roles was Rose on Golden Girls. Right On Betty!

    My favorite Betty White character is Betty herself. She is witty, bawdy, and brilliant. Betty did some skits with Johnny Carson that went awry and she handled them like the pro she has always been.
