Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer may star on HBO’s ‘True Blood’ together, but I bet they’re feeling true bliss right about now.
The pair were married Saturday night at a private residence in Malibu, California, according to Us Magazine. Guests included Elijah Wood and Carrie Preston (Arlene on ‘True Blood’), who attended with her hubby Michael Emerson (Ben Linus on ‘Lost’)
Paquin, 28, and Moyer, 40, exchanged vows beneath a tent across the street from the beach. They announced their engagement last August, after connecting while filming the vampire-fest show, now in its third season.
Paquin is so known for her role as Sookie Stackhouse that people might forget she won an Oscar at age 11 in 1994 for her role in ‘The Piano.’ She and Moyer kept their romance secret for a while. “It was very important to me that the cast and crew we were working with didn’t feel it was fickle,” said the British Moyer. “We didn’t want to take anything away from the show.”
The pair are featured in all their bloody glory on the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone, along with co-star Alexander Skarsgard, who plays Eric Northman on the show. “With Anna it’s just about pure trust, on camera and off,” Moyer said. “I have never trusted anybody like I trust Anna.”
She adds, “I feel so lucky right now. Life is pretty great.” I bet! Congrats to the happy couple!
