When I first saw Christina Hendricks as the sexy, sultry Joan Harris in ‘Mad Men,’ I almost forgot about her character Saffron in ‘Firefly’ (don’t hate me, Browncoats!).
Seriously, it’s like she was put on this earth to play the buxom, cool-as-a-cucumber office manager of the newly formed Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce ad agency in the 1960s.
Now Christina is following in the footsteps of Gisele Bundchen and Eva Longoria Parker and lending her stylish appeal to London Fog’s fall 2010 campaign. “London Fog is a classic brand, which I love,” she told People.com.
“It also ties into ‘Mad Men’; we used London Fog in the show and this was a nice way to tie everything together. The trench is such an iconic shape for men and women. It works for anyone – it worked in the 1960s and it works now.”
I actually owned a London Fog earlier in my life and loved it. Of course, I looked nothing like Christina when I wore it! She’s absolutely gorgeous.
What do you think of her her London Fog ads? Coolness? Does it make you want to invest in a London Fog?
