I reviewed ‘The Wire’ for my Jane After Dark series on TV Squad, and it’s true what everyone says. It’s one of the best shows to ever grace our TV sets. It was a little slow going at first, but by the end of season five, I was hooked.
Creator David Simon, the writers, actors and producers took their time telling the story, weaving an elaborate tale over five seasons. They never dumbed it down or took the easy way out, and for that, we can all be grateful that such TV still exists.
