peanuts-1970s-vol-2 Warner Bros. has been releasing some awesome ‘Peanuts’ collections over the past few years. On June 1, they released the ‘Peanuts 1970s Collection, Vol. 2,’ which includes ‘Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown,’ ‘You’re a Good Sport,’ ‘It’s Arbor Day,’ ‘What a Nightmare,’ ‘It’s Your First Kiss,’ and ‘You’re the Greatest.’

Some of these I hadn’t seen until WB sent me a screener copy, but they’re all just as great as the classic Charlie Brown specials we all know and love. I especially loved ‘What a Nightmare, Charlie Brown,’ which had Snoopy eating too much and dreaming that he’s an Alaskan Sled Dog. And with Peanuts DVDs, you don’t have to worry about anything inappropriate for your kids.

It also includes an all new featurette, ‘You’re Groovy, Charlie Brown: A Look at Peanuts in the 1970’s.’ Buy the set on Amazon.

After the jump, check out a couple of clips.
