New Movie Friday: Knight and Day! Grown Ups!

New in theaters today are a couple of movies that have gotten tons of press. Both ‘Grown Ups’ and ‘Knight and Day’ look cute, but I’ve most been looking forward to ‘Knight and Day,’ mainly because I love a good action-romance flick, and it doesn’t get much better than Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Here’s the rundown on both movies:

Knight and Day’ – June Havens (Diaz) finds her world turned upside down when she gets tangled up with a secret agent (Cruise), who’s realized he isn’t supposed to survive his latest mission. It’s directed by James Mangold, who also directed ‘3:10 to Yuma’ and ‘Walk the Line.’ Rated PG-13 for sequences of action violence throughout, and brief strong language. 110 minutes.

More after the jump…

Grown Ups‘ – After their high school basketball coach passes away, five friends and former teammates reunite for a Fourth of July weekend with their families. Stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider, and Salma Hayek. Directed by Dennis Dugan, who also directed ‘You Don’t Mess With the Zohan.’ Rated PG-13 for crude material, including suggestive references, language and some male rear nudity. 102 minutes.
