When I saw the trailer for ‘Furry Vengeance,’ it sort of reminded me of ‘Caddyshack,’ only a lot more family friendly. Plus, the animals have a real purpose. They’re trying to protect their families, not just seek vengeance on Bill Murray’s golf grounds keeper.
The story takes place in the Oregon wilderness, where a real estate developer’s new housing development faces a unique group of protesters: local woodland creatures who don’t want their homes disturbed. So they rise up and create quite the ruckus for Dan Sanders (Brendan Fraser) and his wife (Brooke Shields) and kids.
It opens in theaters April 30, 2010 and is rated PG for some rude humor, mild language and brief smoking.
