Norbert Leo Butz, who plays Kevin Rayburn on Netflix’s “Bloodline,” performed a concert of original music tonight at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City. During his set, he played a song that began “This song has a hole in it” and told the audience the song will be part of “Bloodline’s” soundtrack in season 3, which premieres on Netflix May 26, 2017.
Norbert didn’t say in which episode the song would be featured but mentioned that he believes it will be played during a scene in a bar. Watch/listen for it!
Besides his role on “Bloodline” and his talents as a singer/songwriter, Norbert has starred in numerous Broadway musicals and plays such as “Wicked,” “Catch Me If You Can,” and “Big Fish.” Currently, he’s in actor/writer Hamish Linklater’s play, “The Whirligig,” with The New Group, an Off-Broadway theater company. His cast members include Zosia Mamet (“Girls”) and Dolly Wells (“Blunt Talk”).
He said he will be releasing a new album of original roots/soft rock/country songs soon. Below is a video of Norbert performing a cover of a Loretta Lynn song last year at 54 Below in New York.
